BILL CANALES
Bill Canales started tattooing in 1992 at Renegade Tattoo in El Paso, TX. I stayed there for 6 years then decided to move to Holland for a while on the advice of Errol and Darko, both from Holland. After my stint abroad I headed back to the U.S. always wanting to work at Avalon in San Diego. I thought, "I'll give it a shot", and it worked! In 1998 I started work at Avalon! What a blessing.
After a few years my wife and I decided to move to New York. I was working at East Side Inc. in the Lower East Side for a little while along side Nalla Smith, Andrea Elston and Patrick Conlon. After a while we decided to move back to San Diego. So of course, I went to work at Avalon. I stayed for a couple of years then we decided to move back to El Paso after having our daughter Maya in 2003, but we got tired of El Paso again. So, one more time we headed back to San Diego where I had another stint at Avalon and to my new resting place Full Circle Tattoo Studio.
